2014 President’s Environmental Youth Award

Deepika received the President’s Environmental Youth Award (PEYA) for her environmental stewardship.  On August 12, 2014, the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, recognized PEYA winners at an awards ceremony held in the White House. Deepika had the opportunity to address 17 teachers and 60 students from across the nation and the honor of introducing EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy.
