Deepika was the first to represent New Hampshire at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, which was held in Pittsburgh, PA from May 10-15. She won a Grand Second Award of $1500 in the category of Environmental Engineering. She was also awarded a $1000 Special Prize in the field of Water Technology by King Abdul-Aziz & his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity.
