Deepika was one of the 30 students in the nation invited to exhibit her project at the 2013 White House Science Fair. She had the opportunity to present her research to senior Administration officials and leading STEM communicators, advocates, and educators. Deepika even had the change to discuss her work with science celebrities like NASA’s “Mohawk Guy” Bobak Ferdowsi and Bill Nye the “Science Guy”.
